Equality PA’s New Year’s Resolutions

EQPA_NY_Resolution_AJ2As soon as I was elected President of Equality PA, I dug in and started working with our board and staff to set some big goals for 2014. I can’t remember a more monumental year for equality than 2013, but I want to make sure that 2014 is just as historic.

Our team has set some ambitious New Year’s Resolutions for 2014, and we’re counting on your help to make them happen:

1.    We will pass a non-discrimination bill in the PA State Legislature to ensure that no one is fired, evicted or denied service for who they are.

2.    We will build widespread public support for the freedom to marry for all committed couples.

Help us keep our 2014 resolutions. Make a donation right now to support our work.

In the next year, we can make more progress for LGBT people in the commonwealth of Pennsylvania than has been made in decades.
Our team at Equality PA is poised and ready to make history right here in the Keystone State.

To pass a nondiscrimination bill in the legislature, we’re building up an expert team of organizers who will work on the ground to mobilize activists like you. Together, we’ll show our legislators that Pennsylvanians overwhelmingly support this commonsense legislation!

To build widespread support for marriage equality, we’ll focus on changing the hearts and minds of every single Pennsylvanian. By sharing our stories – stories of family, of love, of commitment – I know we can convince our neighbors to join our fight.

Our resolutions for 2014 are ambitious. But I know that supporters like you are ready to dig deep and make next year our biggest year yet. Just click here to make your contribution now.

Thank you for everything you do for our community!
