Voters Guide for May 20th Primary

Voter Guide Header

Tomorrow is the primary election. As you know we have endorsed candidates who we think will advance equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people in PA. However, there are plenty of legislators who have already been working hard to advance equality and they deserve your vote too.

Click here to download the Equality PA voter guide for May 2014 to see the members of the LGBT caucus, the co-sponors of SB/HB 300, the state’s non-discrimination bill, and our endorsed candidates.

This guide gives you a comprehensive list of members of the PA State House, PA State Senate, and US House of Representives candidates who are on the record for equality. And, while we did not make endorsements in the Governor’s race, Lt. Governor’s race, or US House District 13, we enourage you to do your own research and vote for your favorite candidates in those races–with one big exception–Mark Critz who is running for Lt. Governor has a deplorable record on LGBT issues. We recommend that you do NOT vote for Mark Critz.

If you are not sure what legislative districts you are in here are some links to help you out:

Click here to find your State House and State Senate districts.

Click here to find your US Congressional districts.

And, if you need to find your polling place, click here.

And again you can print out this voter guide to see the Equality PA endorsed candidates, the members of the LGBT Caucus, and the co-sponors of the non-discrimination bills.

Make sure to make your plan of what time you will go vote, how you will get to the polling place, and bring some friends with you. You can also post on Facebook or Tweet to remind your friends and family to go vote. Here’s a sample post:
