Contact your legislator

Your legislators need to hear from you about the issues that you care about. And they will listen–if it doesn’t change their mind at first. Read this great post here from a former legislative staff person on how to get their attention.

To contact your federal legislators the best thing to do is to call the Congressional Switchboard. They can connect you to your Senators or Members of Congress based on your address. (You don’t even need to know your legislators names!)
