Statement from Executive Director Ted Martin on Development Director John Campbell

Executive Director of Equality PA, Ted Martin released this statement today:

“We learned about the allegations against John Campbell, the Equality PA Development Director, from news reports this morning. After hearing the reports, Mr. Campbell was suspended from his duties at Equality PA. He is on a leave of absence until further notice.

Mr. Campbell began working at Equality PA in April of 2014. He does not have access to bank accounts, check writing, or cash handling as a part of his duties. Mr. Campbell has performed well in his duties during that time. We have no reason to believe there was any wrong doing with his work at our organization.”

UPDATE September 5 2014:

On September 4, 2014 John Campbell resigned from Equality PA.
