John Fetterman earns Equality PA Endorsement for Lieutenant Governor

Harrisburg, PA – Equality Pennsylvania, the Commonwealth’s leading LGBTQ advocacy organization has endorsed Braddock Mayor John Fetterman for Lieutenant Governor during the state’s upcoming Primary Election on Tuesday, May 15, 2018.

“I am so incredibly proud to have received this endorsement. It really means the world to me. I am deeply grateful and honored,” said Fetterman. “My career is first and foremost about making sure that forgotten Pennsylvanians have a voice, and LGBTQ people are absolutely a forgotten community in our Commonwealth. LGBTQ Pennsylvanians still don’t have basic discrimination protection, and that’s ridiculous! It is of the utmost importance to me that LGBTQ Pennsylvanians feel they can trust me to stand up for equality.”

BREAKING NEWS: Lehigh County Bans Discrimination for County Employees and Contractors

ALLENTOWN, PA – On February 14, 2018, Lehigh County Executive Phil Armstrong signed two administrative notifications enhancing LGBT non-discrimination protections in the county. The first notification clarified the county’s own employment policy and the second mandates that county contractors and grantees also comply with the non-discrimination requirement.
